Portables Driver

Responsibilities

• Service portable restrooms, hand wash stations, and other company equipment to the expectations that meet or exceed the company’s standards for service
• Complete assigned routes
• Communicate with dispatch as route changes or issues arise
• Maintain and update route sheets
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain and update drivers log sheets
• Professional interaction with internal and external customers
• Keep truck clean and operating properly within driver’s ability
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand a map
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including prolonged standing, walking, repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing up to 40lbs)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays
• Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate, understand and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and safety training
• Previous CDL truck driving experience preferred
• Waste industry experience, a plus

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must comply with all components of the CDL / DOT requirements for safe driving and compliance such as proper license class, medical card and MVR requirements
• Must speak and understand English well enough to communicate, understand and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and safety training
