Portable Tool Repair Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic portable tools, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

• Disassemble and assemble various tools by utilizing manufacture parts explosion documents.
• Perform repairs on various types of equipment, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and enhance service quality.
• Reassembles tools according to manufacturer specifications.
• Adheres to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards.

Requirements

• To be successful in this position you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn.
• You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
• The ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and must maintain effective working relationships with others is required for this position as well.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience with tear downs and assembly of various tools.
• Basic knowledge of hand & shop tools.
• The ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of post offer background checks and drug screen.
• Possess intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
