What will you be doing?
- Greet guests warmly, promote drink orders, ensure satisfaction, and address concerns with professionalism and etiquette.
- Set up and maintain the pool bar daily, including stocking beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, paper goods, and condiments based on business projections.
- Promptly serve food and drinks, adhering to menu specifications and presentation standards.
- Prepare, cut, and store garnishes, fruits, juices, and other perishables, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, pool area, and storage.
- Verify checks, process payments accurately, follow accounting guidelines, and balance house bank at shift end.
- Aid with private functions and special guest requests as needed.
- Set up and break down workstations, clear equipment, and perform general cleaning tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
What do you bring to the role?
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
- Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnishes, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders.
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
- Previous bartending experience required.
- Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.
- CPR certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
- Bartending certificate preferred.
- TIPS and Douglas County food handler certification required.
