Pool - Patient Care Tech (PRN)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to behavioral health patients under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Delegates tasks as directed and delegated by the RN and/or Program Manager.
• Ensures the safety of the unit they are assigned to, identifying and elevating safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience, preferably in behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
• Valid identification required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check required.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $20.50/HR - $24.60/HR
