Patient Care Tech (PRN/POOL)

About the role

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to behavioral health patients working under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Delegates tasks as directed and delegated by the RN and/or Program Manager.
• Ensures the safety of the unit they are assigned to, identifying environmental and patient specific safety concerns and elevating those concerns to the RN, Program Manager, or designee as needed.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations required.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
• Valid identification required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check required.

Skills
