Pool Maintenance Technician - Clearview (Full-Time)

Primary duties

• Pool maintenance
• Pool chemistry management
• Pool equipment repairs (pumps, motors, heaters)
• Caretaking and POA pool cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Requirements

• Experience performing pool maintenance or pool repairs
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) designation required (can be obtained after hire)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
• Professional integrity and effective teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of company’s properties and services
• Neat and organized appearance
• Aspire to fulfill company’s core values
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Compliance with company policies and dress code

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool maintenance and repairs
• Handle pool chemicals safely
• Check and adjust water chemistry
• Check and operate pool equipment
• Empty pump pot basket
• Backwash sand filter and check cartridges
• Blow off pool deck
• Clean debris from pool
• Vacuum pool
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and company vehicle
• Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality and timing
• Ensure compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships
• Execute other duties as delegated by leadership

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform kneeling, crouching, squatting, climbing, standing, sitting, balancing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling and walking for prolonged periods
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
• Ability to work for extended periods in an outdoor environment, including exposure to sun, heat, cold, wind, rain and higher than normal noise levels
• Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 100 lbs
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
