Pool Inside Sales Account Manager

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an inside sales or account executive role with full sales cycle responsibility, preferably in the pool or related industry.
  • A proven and verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust in a remote environment, understanding that personalized relationships are key for smaller dealers.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience managing complex deal cycles.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and MS Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Formal training in consultative sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, SPIN Selling).
  • Deep knowledge of the pool and spa industry market and competitive landscape, specifically relating to builder practices and programs.
  • Experience managing accounts that transition between inside and outside sales, and understanding the nuances of these handoffs, with an emphasis on customer-centric transitions.

Shift/Hours

This role is hybrid.
Ability to work overtime when needed.

Compensation

  • The hourly pay for this role is $38.00 – $42.00/hour, DOE.
  • Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
  • Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
  • This position is also eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual bonus (paid out quarterly).
