Duties of the Position
- BUS 230A — Financial Accounting (Intro)
- BUS 230B — Managerial Accounting (Intro)
- BUS 330A — Intermediate Accounting I
- BUS 330B — Intermediate Accounting II
- BUS 430 — Advanced Accounting
- BUS 434 — Auditing
- BUS 433A — Individual Taxation
- BUS 433B — Corporate and Estate Taxation
- BUS 435 — Cost Accounting
- BUS 438 — Advanced Data Analytics in Accounting
- BUS 535 — MBA Core: Cost Control and Analysis
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Extensive (10 years or more) experience may compensate for a lack of a Master’s degree, in a specialized field (for example, tax or audit).
- A minimum of two college-level sections of teaching experience.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience related to the courses to be taught.
- CPA or CMA is strongly preferred.
- Full-time workload is 15 units per semester.
- Salary commensurate with degree level and experience.
- The full-time monthly base salary range is $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month.
- Selection as a candidate in the applicant pool does not guarantee employment.
- Temporary Faculty appointments are made on a part-time, temporary basis and contingent upon department needs and funding.
- Relocation expenses will not be provided for temporary faculty appointments.
- Expenses incurred to attend an interview for temporary faculty positions are not reimbursed by the University.
