About the role

The Clinical Partner (CP) role at Baptist Health involves providing basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks under the direction of a registered nurse. This position requires adherence to the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes, and BHSF policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks such as wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, and discontinuing a Foley catheter.
• Works closely with the assigned RN to ensure safe and quality patient-centered care.
• Does not delegate nursing activities that assess and evaluate the impact of interventions on patient care.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or LPN license required.
• Two years to obtain Florida CNA licensure for Clinical Partners hired before October 1, 2023.
• Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida, preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• One year of previous experience as a CNA in an acute care facility highly preferred.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this position is $22.50 per hour, depending on shift as applicable.
