About the Role
The Pool and Beach Attendant oversees the pool and beach area, ensures safety, maintains equipment inventory, and provides hospitality services to residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
- Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
- Submits and reports incidents to the appropriate manager.
- Maintains a service-oriented approach to residents and guests.
- Cleans debris from the pool and performs basic cleaning tasks.
- Checks and maintains sports equipment for guest use.
- Reports broken equipment to the manager for replacement.
- Works collaboratively as part of a team.
- Remains accessible and approachable to residents and guests.
- Follows Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and procedures.
- Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency (preferred).
- Completion of college-level courses in Hospitality (strongly desirable).
- Two or more years of experience in the Hospitality Industry.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency (desirable).
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods.
- Walk, climb stairs, handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Navigate the property quickly and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
Schedule
Thursday – Monday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Pay
$20.00 per hour.
