POOL BARTENDER

About the role

We are looking for a Seasonal Mid Shift Bartender to join our Food and Beverage team at La Posada de Santa Fe, A Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience as a Bartender and hold food handler and New Mexico Alcohol certifications. They should have a passion for the industry and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
• Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
• Act as cashier for the bar
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar, including requisitioning and stocking of all necessary items
• Maintain stock, cut, and store of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promoting and documenting orders for drinks
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions using the point of sale system to create checks for each guest

Requirements

The successful candidate must have at least 6 months of experience as a Bartender and hold food handler and New Mexico Alcohol certifications. They should also have a passion for the industry and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
