Pool Attendant

About the role

Pendry is seeking a Pool Attendant to join our team. This role is all about bringing your passion and creativity to our beautiful pool areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the pool area is kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests by greeting them, addressing inquiries, and assisting with towels and water
• Complete the set up and break down of all service cabanas as designated by management
• Perform a walk-through of the pool area to monitor and clean pool decks, furniture, and restrooms to ensure an impeccable and inviting environment
• Set up and arrange pool furniture, umbrellas, and other amenities to enhance guest comfort and enjoyment
• Promote poolside amenities and services, such as food and beverage offerings, cabana rentals, and poolside entertainment
• Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, recreation, and guest services, to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Team-oriented
• Basic communication skills
• Hotel experience, a plus

Skills

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Standing and exercising mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Pushing and pulling food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi-regular basis

Pay

The pay scale for the Pool Attendant position is $15.92 per hour.
