About the role

Sentara Healthcare is hiring a Polysomnography Technologist for the 6-bed AASM-accredited Sentara Sleep Center at Sentara Independence in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This full-time position (36 hours/week) focuses on delivering excellent patient care and outcomes in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic studies and related procedures in accordance with AASM standards.
• Monitor and record sleep patterns, respiratory events, and other physiological parameters.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing sleep evaluations.

Requirements

• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) certification – required.
• Active licensure in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required.

Pay

Base pay range: $21.42 – $35.70 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
