About the role
Perform polysomnography, score sleep recordings, and maintain testing equipment in a Sleep Disorders Center.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients for sleep-related breathing disorders, seizure disorders, and narcolepsy
- Perform clerical work and documentation to support clinical and operational functions
Requirements
- Graduation from a Respiratory Care Program, completion of the A-STEP program, or a CAAHEP-accredited program
- Required credentials: RPSGT from BRPT, SDS from NBRC, or RST from the American Board of Sleep Medicine
- Alternatively, be a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner with NBRC registration and obtain certification within 1 year
- Current CPR Certification
Qualifications
- Preferred: at least 1 year of polysomnography experience
- Preferred: 6 months working with pediatric patients
