Responsibilities

• Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy, and patient care plans.
• Adapts all needed testing procedures and equipment to patients and obtains quality data.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and takes appropriate action as necessary.
• Uses hospital equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly and notifies the lead polysomnographer of any concerns.
• Follows procedures for correct billing and documentation of services provided.
• Strives to achieve reliability scores at a prescribed rate.
• Explains and modifies teaching strategies to accommodate patients with decreased vision, hearing, or mental status.
• Addresses considerations necessary for the care of patients with special medical conditions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ years of experience as a sleep tech [Required]

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]

Pay

$22.97 - $42.73

Schedule

Full-time, 8a - 4:30p, Monday - Friday. May need to float to Asheville location as needed.

Hendersonville, NC

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for eligible applicants. Relocation Bonus: Up to $5,000 for eligible applicants.
