About the role
The Polysomnographic Technologist plays a key role in evaluating and treating sleep disorders under the supervision of a clinical director.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies such as polysomnography, MSLT, and MWT
- Perform CPAP downloads and document clinical observations
- Prepare and calibrate testing equipment
- Maintain sleep systems
- Score polysomnography records
- Generate reports
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- State licensure
- Completion of an accredited education program in polysomnography or related fields
- BLS certification
- Maintain credentials through ongoing education
- Become BRPT board eligible within 24 months if applicable

- Technical proficiency with sleep equipment

- Ability to work independently in a night shift setting
