About the role

Performs routine and complex polysomnographic procedures including MSLT, MWT, correlates and compiles diagnostic data and applies therapeutic modalities as necessary to patient's condition.

Responsibilities

  • Scoring, scheduling, upkeep of electronic and paper files
  • Database activities
  • Departmental quality improvement
  • EMU equipment troubleshooting
  • Takes call for routine EEGs on a rotational basis (EEG work does not apply to Medford)

Requirements

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

Upon hire/start date:

  • Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist License
  • Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist/Respiratory Therapist License
  • National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
  • National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
