About the role
We are seeking a Polysomnographer to perform routine and complex sleep studies, including MSLT and MWT, and compile diagnostic data to aid patient care. The role may involve routine EEGs and on-call duties for EEGs, excluding Medford-specific EEG work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex sleep studies, including MSLT and MWT
- Score and compile diagnostic data to aid patient care
- Schedule sleep studies and maintain patient files
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot and maintain EMU equipment
Requirements
- Relevant certification, license, or registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist or Respiratory Therapist
- National registration or certification with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
- Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist License or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Skills
- Proficiency in polysomnography procedures and data analysis
- Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
