About the role
The County of San Bernardino is seeking a Systems Accountant III to join our team. This position involves planning, developing, designing, and reviewing automated accounting systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating the feasibility of accounting and cost systems
- Analyzing accounting features of software packages for appropriateness
- Performing cash flow and cost/benefit analyses
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Four (4) years of professional-level accounting experience performing systems and procedures analysis of accounting systems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or any field with 24 semester (36 quarter) units in accounting AND 24 semester (36 quarter) units of business-related courses.
- An active California Certified Public Accountant license may substitute for the education requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.
