About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Poling Operative – Drivers to join our Midlands Team.
Responsibilities
- Replace damaged, decayed, or defective poles in the Openreach network
- Install new poles to support customer connections
- Ensure all work meets client specifications and safety standards
- Maintain driving standards and legal compliance
- Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company/client policies
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and understanding of Tachograph driving laws
- Strong work ethic and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional communication skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and achievement-oriented
- Basic computer literacy
Qualifications
- Experience working in the Openreach network (desirable)
- Groundworks or civils experience (desirable)
- IPAF 1B (desirable)
- NPORS N107 or equivalent (desirable)
- Full NRSWA Streetworks operative-level qualification (desirable)
- 360 Excavator operation (desirable)
- PASMA certification (desirable)
Benefits
Training is paid at a rate of £120 – £160 per day. All pay rates will be discussed via Phone Call. Our Course will start on 20th July 2026.
Pay
The starting pay range is £120.00-£650.00 per day.
