Job Duties
- Operate and maintain company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport goods to and from designated locations
- Plan delivery routes and schedules to meet deadlines
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and clients
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
- Ensure cargo is secured and transported safely
- Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly
Job Qualifications
- Valid HGV license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV Driver
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism
