HGV Driver/Jet Vac Operator
About the role
You will be part of a two-person team, operating our high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units. Work Projects will include any drainage related issues, including blockage clearance, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works. Although you start at the depot, you will be mobile attending to all work activities, within various work sectors, including industrial, rail, utility, commercial, residential. Travelling in your vehicle you will be covering jobs throughout the region which can involve travel times added in addition.
Responsibilities
- Operate high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units
- Clear drainage issues such as blockages and perform pipe cleansing programs
- Attend to emergency reactive works as required
- Travel throughout the region to attend to various work sectors including industrial, rail, utility, commercial, residential
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points
- Desirable: Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry
- Physical fitness and lots of energy
- An in date CSCS would be advantageous, but obtainable if necessary

Pay
£31200 - £35360 (£43,000) dependent on experience and inclusive of overtime
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (weekend work as and when needed)
