Policy Coordinator

About the role

The Policy Coordinator supports Iowa Farmers Union's mission by building relationships with farmers and stakeholders, supporting policy work and advocacy efforts, and representing IFU at the Capitol and across the state.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with farmers and stakeholders
• Support policy work and advocacy efforts
• Represent IFU at the Capitol and across the state

Requirements

• Passion about agriculture and rural communities
• Experience in community organizing
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel across Iowa

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience in policy work and advocacy
• Ability to represent an organization effectively
