Duties
- Perform redactions of Body Worn Camera (BWC) footage for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and subpoena requests.
- Conduct daily and weekly audits of the BWC system.
- Work closely with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office to ensure all necessary BWC evidence is provided for prosecution while strictly following the rules for sharing with defense attorneys.
- Perform other work as required.
Requirements
- Must be a former police officer.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Possess or be eligible for a Virginia driver’s license with no more than six demerit points in the past twelve months or a DUI conviction within the past four years.
- No conviction of felonies and/or habitual misdemeanors.
- No conviction of, or guilty pleas or no contest plea to: misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, including petit larceny; any misdemeanor sex offense; or any domestic assault.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Skills
- Knowledge of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
- Ability to conduct audits and redactions.
- Strong communication skills.

Schedule
Shift: 28 hours/week; schedule determined by needs of assignment.
