Responsibilities
- Attend a POST-certified Basic police academy
- Graduation from the Police Academy
- Sworn in as a Police Officer
- Salary range of $7,890 - $10,572 monthly
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Class C California Driver’s License
- Pass vision, hearing, and height/weight requirements
- Age 21 or older at the time of graduation from the academy
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must pass the General Education Development test or other high school equivalency test
- Must pass the POST Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery (PELLETB)
- Must pass the Physical Agility Test (PAT)
- Must pass an oral interview evaluation
