POLICE RECRUIT

Responsibilities

Patrol city neighborhoods.

Enforce local and state laws.

Respond to calls for service.

Conduct investigations.

Make arrests when necessary.

Assist with traffic enforcement.

Respond to motor vehicle accidents.

Complete detailed reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successful completion of required Police training programs.
• United States citizenship.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid TCOLE license.
