Police Officers

Requirements

• Be a United States citizen
• Must be at least 21 Years of Age prior to the completion of the Academy
• Require a Valid Driver's License
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have or be able to obtain a Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms (LTC)
• Must be a Resident of MA or CT, within 15 miles of West Springfield
• Applicant cannot have tattoos on their head, neck, and hands
• Must take and pass the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association Witten Examination and CHIP Physical Fitness Test based on the MPTC Fitness Standards

Pay

Starting hourly $31.51 and $35.17 upon completion of Probationary period.
