About the role

The City of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Personnel Division, announces Open Competitive Examinations to establish an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer.

Responsibilities

• Enforce laws and regulations
• Investigate criminal activity
• Provide emergency response services
• Interact with the public and other law enforcement agencies

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be a US citizen
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have no felony convictions
• Must have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent

• Probationary Rate - \$1,011.96/Week
• Step 1 - \$1,384.02/Week
• Step 2 - \$1,411.69/Week
