Police Officer

Description of Job Duties

Protection of life and property; the enforcement of laws and ordinances; prevention and investigation of crimes and maintenance of order, and positive engagement with community members.

Experience and Other Qualifications Required

• A U.S. Resident
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience as a commissioned law enforcement officer
• A Texas Peace Officer Certification; an Intermediate Peace Officer Certification or higher is preferred
• Ability to read and write the English language
• Pass a stringent background investigation
• A Valid Texas Driver's License
