The City of Globe, a small rural city in Gila County, AZ, is responsible for over 60 miles of public streets, manages several significant drainage ways, has a large multi-purpose recreational complex and eight public parks, along with ownership and operation of its own Municipal Drinking Water and Wastewater Systems that serves approximately 4,000 utility customers. The City is requesting written proposals from established and experienced individuals with active Professional Engineer (Civil) and Registered Land Surveyor Licenses in the State of Arizona to provide dependable part-time services to the City as “City Engineer” on a mutually agreed upon weekly schedule.

Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills

• All interested respondents to the City’s this Request For Proposals will have at least five (5) years of proven experience in providing professional civil engineering and land surveying related services in Arizona, as an employee or as a consultant, with experience in planning, engineering analysis, design, cost estimating, preparation of bid specifications, project and construction management of the typical variety of public works projects for a full-service local government entity in Arizona.
• Such respondents will also be expected to give the City their highest priority, make a solid commitment of regular and weekly availability to the City to provide any and all services as deemed necessary in the best interest of the, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• All proposals shall be in writing and submitted to the City of Globe, Attention: Manoj Vyas, City Manager, City of Globe, 150 North Pine Street, Globe, Arizona 85501. All proposals shall be sealed and clearly marked, “Proposal for Services as City Engineer”.
