New Constable Recruitment Process/Steps
Submit Cover Letter & Resume
Personal Information Questionnaire (PIQ) to be completed within 48 hours of receipt
Interviews – These will include:
A written component
An Informational Interview
A Behaviour Based Interview
Background Investigation - Your transcripts, copy of OACP certificate, references, employment, etc. will be reviewed and validated by our Background Team.
The Background process will continue throughout the process
HPS PREP test
Psychological Assessment Panel
Interview
All steps are required to become a Police Constable with the Hamilton Police Service.
