Point of Care Scheduling Manager
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Point of Care Scheduling Manager is responsible for managing all activities related to day-to-day operations of the Point of Care (PoC)/Bedside program. You will perform associated processes when necessary to ensure targets and goals are met. You will establish and monitor QA audits, tracks, and trends performance and productivity by employee. The manager provides ongoing training and education. You assume responsibility for staffing, problem solving, and leading by example.
The truest intent of PoC/Bedside scheduling is a bedside initiated patient experience, with the objectives of increased contact rate, scheduling immediacy, and improved overall patient experience. The manager will create and maintain a positive customer experience in a patient centered, quality driven environment.
Requirements
- Lives and performs duties within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (located in FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).
- Three years’ management experience preferred.
- Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Some travel will be required approximately 25% of the time to visit sites within the Gulf Coast Division (Houston, TX; Austin/El Paso, TX; Kansas City, MO).

Pay

Schedule
In this role, you will assist the AVP of Point of Care Scheduling in the oversight of the program. You will effectively manage on-site staff while working remotely. You will build and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders involved in the program. You will perform site visits on a regular cadence and maximize time while on-site. You will perform PoC scheduling functions when needed to ensure contact rates remain at goal. You will ensure QA is performed on a sample of functions; maintain statistics and reports. You will assist with development/creation/maintenance of education materials. You will provide continuous training for and communicate changes to existing employees.
