Our Podiatrists provide patient-centered care with support from our seasoned Podiatrist provider support team based in Framingham, Massachusetts. As a Podiatrist with HealthDrive, we provide you with a practice where you deliver non-surgical podiatry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities in a mobile fashion. You will guide us on your desired number of patients per day to maximize your income or achieve your ideal work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and regular podiatry care.
- Provide traditional daily patient care including nail trimmings, corn & callous care, and occasional wound care.
- Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system.
- Apply proper coding guidelines and populate appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients.
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment.
Requirements
- Podiatry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of foot conditions and disorders.
- Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet, and learn other healthcare-related software.
- Self-starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful, and attentive care.
- Completion of a podiatric residency program.
- Current State professional license.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift.
- Ability to transport mobile podiatry equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
- Ability to assist patients with shoes and socks.
- Occasional requirement to transport patients in wheelchairs.
Travel
This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on patient care requirements for the specified service area. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.
