About the role

We are seeking a qualified Podiatrist to join our team in Chicago, IL, providing routine and referral podiatric care to Skilled Nursing residents.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
• Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders of the feet and ankles.
• Perform wound care management and diagnose foot and ankle conditions using medical histories, exams, x-rays, and labs.
• Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery as needed.
• Advise patients on treatment plans and preventive foot and ankle care.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Promote health and preventive medication.
• Maintain accurate medical records and update them routinely.
