Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, and epidemiology of medical conditions.
  • Utilizes critical thinking to synthesize and analyze collected data.
  • Develops, implements, and alters the plans of care as indicated.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills pertinent to practice area.

Patient Care

  • Provides compassionate care, incorporating the patient and family in care planning and treatment across settings.
  • Serves as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the health care system.
  • Clinical documentation, including coding and billing, meets all required standards.
  • Utilization and proficiency of EHR, allowing for timely completion of documentation.

Practice Based Learning and Clinical Improvement

  • Demonstrates insight into own strengths, limitations, and knowledge deficits, continuously seeking opportunities for clinical advancement and skill attainment.
  • Actively participates in self-evaluation by seeking and utilizing guidance and constructive feedback in a professional manner.

Communication and Interdisciplinary Collaboration

  • Works and communicates effectively with multidisciplinary team members, all related health professionals, patients and their families.
  • Promotes mutual respect and trust working within a team model.

Education & Experience

  • Doctoral degree in podiatric medicine.
  • Completion of accredited residency with board qualification or certification.

Pay Range

$140,000 - $160,000 per year
