About the Role
Medical Director Services is seeking compassionate, motivated Podiatrists (DPMs) to provide podiatric care in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Georgia. Build a schedule that fits your availability—whether you prefer one day a week, several days a week, or a full-time schedule. We handle patient coordination, scheduling, and billing, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
You'll provide high-quality podiatric care to residents in skilled nursing facilities, including:
- Routine foot care
- Nail debridement and nail procedures
- Callus reduction
- Diabetic foot evaluations
- Preventative foot care and assessments
- Patient education and treatment recommendations
- Documentation using facility EMR systems, including PointClickCare and SigmaCare
Our operations team provides your daily schedule and patient list in advance, minimizing administrative tasks.

Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted podiatry license in the state of employment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Reliable transportation to assigned facilities
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plus but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Pay
This position offers competitive productivity-based (RVU) compensation, allowing you to maximize earnings based on the schedule you choose. Providers commonly see 30–50 patients during a half day and 60–80 patients during a full day, depending on facility needs and individual schedules.

We focus on treating residents in place to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations and prioritize reducing medications, particularly narcotics and psychotropic drugs. Our providers collaborate with hospitals to ensure continuity of care and maintain strong documentation to support facility compliance. We serve facilities with specialty units, including ventilator-dependent residents, and have extensive experience navigating the SNF survey process.
