Podcast Producer – Entertainment Industry, On-Site

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and troubleshoot microphones, audio interfaces, and recording equipment before each session
• Record live podcast sessions, ensuring clean, professional-quality audio and video
• Edit episodes for pacing, clarity, and narrative flow
• Mix and master audio to achieve consistent levels and broadcast standards
• Organize, archive, and manage all raw and final audio files
• Deliver final edited episodes according to the agreed schedule
• Address technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions during recording

Requirements

• Proven experience producing podcasts or similar audio content, preferably in the entertainment industry
• Strong technical skills with microphones, audio interfaces, and recording equipment
• Proficiency in audio editing, mixing, and mastering software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly
• Excellent organizational skills for managing files and project assets
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, broadcast-ready content
• Availability for on-site work in Los Angeles; willingness to travel is a plus
• Able to work efficiently within tight deadlines and adapt to changing production needs
