About The Role Assurit is seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO Analyst to support program and project success through effective communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. This role plays a critical part in ensuring alignment across project teams and leadership by managing information flow, facilitating governance activities, and delivering clear, actionable insights throughout the project lifecycle. This position is ideal for professionals with experience supporting program or project management offices (PMOs), particularly in DoD or federal environments. Location: Remote Key Responsibilities Develop and execute project communication plans to ensure stakeholders remain informed and alignedPrepare and maintain status reports, dashboards, and executive briefingsFacilitate governance meetings, working groups, and stakeholder workshopsMaintain and organize project documentation in accordance with organizational standardsTrack and analyze project performance metrics, identifying risks, trends, and issuesSupport project managers and program leadership with reporting, coordination, and communicationsServe as a liaison between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information flowAssist with process improvement initiatives within the PMO environmentExperienced using Microsoft tools to implement efficiencies (dashboarding, etc.) and improving business processes Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)4–7 years of experience supporting project management, PMO operations, or business transformation initiativesExperience developing reports, dashboards, and executive-level communicationsStrong skills in stakeholder engagement and coordination across multiple teamsProficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and/or project management toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting DoD or federal government programsFamiliarity with PMO governance processes and frameworksExperience with tools such as Power BI, MS Project, Jira, or similar platformsPMP, CAPM, or related certification (or working toward certification Clearance Active DoD Secret Clearance (required) Apply for Position Working at Assurit Assurit is an award winning, certified small business headquartered in Fairfax, VA.
