About the Role

Casa Grande Academy is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated 1099 Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting adolescents through high-quality behavioral health care.

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and collaborative care for clients within a therapeutic and academic setting. This role works closely with therapists, medical staff, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive mental health support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with clinical and educational teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and medications
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Current PMHNP certification
• Active Arizona RN and APRN licensure (or eligibility)
• DEA license and prescriptive authority

Qualifications

• Experience working with adolescents or behavioral health populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
