Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily lesson and curriculum plans using creative curriculum.
- Create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students.
- Perform teaching activities that align with the Head Start Performance Standards regulations.
- Assist with meals, bus monitoring, and other assigned activities.
Requirements
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool required.
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field required.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Arabic is helpful but not required.
- Must pass CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background checks prior to employment.
- Valid Massachusetts state driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
