About the role

The Bartender at Concord Hotels is the eyes and ears of the property, interacting with guests to enhance their experience and potentially turning moods around. The role involves setting up the bar, mixing drinks, and ensuring a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
• Set up the bar according to hotel standards
• Serve guests promptly and efficiently with all beverage requirements
• Break down bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment according to hotel standards
• Follow state liquor laws
• Know hotel services and facilities
• Absorb hotel policies and safety rules
• Respond to guests' problems, complaints, and accidents
• Ensure bar and service areas are kept clean and tidy during service
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Flexible and willing to work long hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• High standards of personal appearance and grooming
• Problem-solving skills
