About the role

The PM&R Department serves the rehabilitation needs of the 1.4 million people in a 29-county region of eastern North Carolina and is located within ECU Health Rehabilitation Center at ECU Health Medical Center with Spinal Cord, Brain Injury, General Rehab, and Pediatric Rehabilitation Units.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on traumatic brain injury (TBI).
• Employment by ECU Health Physicians - Academic Employment
• Privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed level 1 trauma center
• Participation in the training of residents, medical students, and other allied health students
• Research is supported and is a valued component of the position
• Residency program leadership opportunities and medical student clerkship positions are available

Requirements

• Board certified/board eligible PM&R physician
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
