Cognitive Neurology Opportunity in Greenville, NC

About the role

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurology-Greenville are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Cognitive Disorders, Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry, or Geriatric Neurology to join their growing practice located in Greenville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient clinical care with occasional inpatient responsibility associated with attending duties of residency program
• Support from experienced Nurse Practitioner designated to help see cognitive patients
• Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, schedule
• No call
• Opportunity to be a part of ACGME neurology residency program

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Cognitive Disorders, Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry, or Geriatric Neurology
• New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply

Qualifications

• Available resources include on-site infusion suite, in-office lab, EEG, EMG and nerve conduction studies, and ALS clinic
• Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine and intraoperative monitoring. There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
