PM + Inspection Shop Technician (Mechanic)

About the role

At EquipmentShare, we’re hiring a PM + Inspection Shop Technician (Mechanic) at our rental facility in Montgomery, AL. This role is part of a growing team dedicated to transforming the construction industry through innovative technology and exceptional service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders
• Track machine service intervals
• Order parts
• Diagnose issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models
• Practice safe job practices
• Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed
• Absorb and assist in training lower-level technicians
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school certificate preferred
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
