Plumbing Superintendent

About the role

The Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This individual ensures compliance with local building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the plumbing department
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and regulations
• Manage and train a team of plumbers
• Coordinate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution
• Perform regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and address issues proactively

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing management
• Valid journeyman plumber license
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
• Knowledge of various plumbing materials and techniques
• Experience with plumbing inspection and testing equipment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
