Plumbing Superintendent

About the role

The Plumbing Superintendent oversees all plumbing operations, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards. They manage a team of plumbers and oversee maintenance schedules to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plumbing tasks and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage a team of plumbers, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of plumbing systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other departments to resolve issues and improve service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train staff.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with various plumbing systems and materials.
• Knowledge of construction techniques and project management.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Pay

$X per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
