Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform service, repair, replacement, and installation of commercial plumbing systems and equipment.
- Service and maintain grease traps, oil/gas separators, drainage systems, and related equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and complete required documentation and reporting.
- Accurately complete service tickets, plumber reports, and job documentation as required.
- Respond to tenant service requests including restroom repairs, drain cleaning, and sewer line maintenance using motorized equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls as required, including after-hours support.
- Work safely at all times and ensure safe working conditions are maintained at job sites.
- Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and job hazard requirements.
- Communicate effectively with customers, Foremen, Project Managers, and Service Management regarding job status and findings.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in a clean and professional condition.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or plumbing apprenticeship.
- 3+ years of Journeyman-level experience in commercial or industrial plumbing environments.
- Journeyman Plumber certification required; Backflow Prevention Certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proven knowledge of applicable plumbing codes, regulations, and ordinances.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, plans, and drawings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license required and must meet company MVR requirements.
Pay
The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. The range for this position is $80 - $90 per hour.
