Plumbing Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to residential service calls and perform diagnostics and repairs on plumbing issues
• Repair, install, replace plumbing fixtures and systems including sinks, toilets, faucets, showers, water heaters, drain lines and more
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future issues
• Test systems for leaks, pressure issues and proper functions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Provide clear explanations and recommendations to homeowners, including cost estimates and options
• Comply with all state and local plumbing codes and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician
• Familiarity with plumbing tools, equipment, and techniques
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including drainage, water supply, and heating systems
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks related to plumbing installations or repairs
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California Driver's License
• Current CPR certification

Pay

• The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $65K-$150K/annually
• The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands
