Plumbing Service Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Install and Maintain Plumbing Systems
• Perform residential plumbing installations, including water heaters, piping, fixtures, and water filtration systems
• Diagnose and Repair Issues
• Identify plumbing malfunctions, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance to ensure systems function efficiently and meet safety standards
• Investigate and Resolve Problems
• Respond to service calls, identify issues, and perform necessary repairs to restore plumbing functionality
• Work with Gas and Water Lines
• Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas piping
• Provide Technical Support and Customer Service
• Address client concerns, explain system operations, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Complete Documentation
• Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, job progress reports, and materials used
• Collaborate with Dispatch and Service Teams
• Maintain communication with the dispatcher and other departments to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion
• Work Independently and Adapt
• Exhibit flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed while managing tasks with minimal supervision
• Follow Safety Protocols
• Adhere to all company policies and industry safety regulations
• Handle equipment and lift at least 50 lbs as part of daily responsibilities

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of plumbing experience preferred
• Plumbing certification or equivalent field experience from a technical/trade school
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in plumbing installation and repair
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
