Plumbing Operations Manager

About the role
We are searching for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Operations Manager to join our team in Jackson, WI. A valid Wisconsin Master Plumber license is highly preferred for this role as it combines hands-on plumbing expertise, team leadership, and regulatory oversight. This key role is responsible for ride-alongs while also working in the field to generate revenue.
Responsibilities
- Field Leadership: Manage and lead a team of plumbing technicians; perform ride-alongs to provide field training, coaching, and safety oversight.
- Revenue Generation: Work actively in the field to perform plumbing repairs and directly contribute to company revenue targets.
- Service Operations: Oversee daily dispatching, scheduling, site field reports, and workflow optimization.
- Technical Support: Utilize master-level plumbing knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues and assist technicians in the field.
- Customer Excellence: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to maintain our top-tier service reputation.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies on all job sites.
Requirements
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing license.
- Experience: Proven track record in plumbing operations management, service management, or a senior supervisory field role.
- Tech Skills: Experience with plumbing industry dispatch software is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative leadership style.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay
Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 annually (dependent on experience and licensing). Performance Incentives: Additional bonus structure tied to operational targets.
